Lincoln City Foundation is looking for FA Level 2 qualified coaches to work across our growing Football Development programme that sees children from under 7’s to under 16’s given the opportunity to develop their technical ability and progress through a football pathway which could lead to academy-level football participation.
This flexible offer of employment is attractive to students and those in other paid employment who want to get involved in football coaching.
Coaches should be personable, have experience and the ability to engage positively with parents and young people, and be organised and passionate about coaching and player development.
The role of a Football Development Coach is to primarily assist the lead officer in planning, co-ordinate, delivering and evaluating a range of activities and programmes across the organisation.
This role is likely to include working on matchday activities and seasonal events, evenings and weekends as and when required.
The role will be responsible for:

Providing safe, fun, engaging, and high-quality sports provision to all participants in line with the programme curriculum, structure, and strategy objectives

Aiding the progression of participants through programme activity, with the aim to make a positive impact on an individual’s health, well-being, and personal achievement

To develop and lead sessions and be accountable for the standard of delivery content, administration, relevant equipment assessment, participant contribution and engagement.

Recruitment for sessional workers is always open so we have four review windows each year. During the review window we asses and shortlist applications received since the last review window.
