Womanhood exhibition at the LNER Stadium

The act of supporting Lincoln City through the perspective of five women will be explored through a Kicking Off exhibition held at the LNER Stadium this week.
The Museum of Me Lincoln: Womanhood will open with a display on the 3G pitch at the LNER Stadium from 10am Wednesday until 5pm on Saturday.
The Kicking Off exhibition is a capture of what the beautfiul game means to women and girls of Lincoln.
Emillia Zirker, community leader at Lincoln City Foundation, said: “AtLincoln City Foundation we are passionate about supporting girls and women of all ages in football through our development programmes, employing coaches or walking football sessions.
“The Museum of Me offers a fantastic opportunity to share the perspectives of those who have taken part so far."
The exhibition explores what it is like to follow football for the below five Imps fans.

Bella Bogg: a first team Lincoln Women player and part-time bricklayer.
Brittany Bell: operations manager for Lincoln City Foundation who lives and breathes football.
Jocelyn Croft: a mother of three who found confidence through walking football and is now
training to coach.
Margaret Done: an Imps supporter since 1951 who volunteers on matchdays to
support the community.
Alicia Davis: a community coach and university student who is part of the Foundation team.
Kicking Off is the start of The Museum of Me Lincoln: Womanhood, a month-long celebration of Womanhood through International Women’s Month 2026
The four week series of events in full are:
Week 1: Kicking Off
In partnership with Lincoln City Foundation
Presented at: LNER Stadium [3G Pitch]
Dates: Wed 4 March 10am - Sat 7 March 5pm.
A capture of what the beautiful game means to the football playing women (and girls) of Lincoln, and
a look into what women today still have to kick off about.
Week 2: Becoming Mum.
In partnership with Lincoln Museum and Usher Gallery
Presented at: The Lawns, outside the entrance to the John Dawber Gardens
Dates: Tue 10 March 10am - Sat 14 March 5.30pm
Transitioning into ‘Mum’ is a dramatic physical and psychological shift that happens overnight. Meet
five different women and their little bundles of joy, complexity, sleepless nights and endless anxiety.
Week 3: We Live And Learn
In partnership with Lincoln Arts Centre and Lincoln University
Presented at: Lincoln Arts Centre, University of Lincoln Campus
Dates: Weds 18 March, 10am - Sun 22 March, 5.30pm
H.G Bohn once said “Wise men learn by other men's mistakes”, well step aside men, the women will
save you that trauma. This week focuses on the female identifying academics, students and core
university staff on their endless pursuits for wisdom, without the need to navigate another man's
mistake to get there.
Week 4: Belief In Change
In partnership with Lincoln Cathedral
Presented at: Lincoln Cathedral’s Deans Garden
Dates: Weds 25 March, 10am - Mon 30 March, 5pm
Lincoln Cathedral is not just a historic landmark of Lincolnshire’s great past, it is also a forward
thinking and innovative display of the future. Meet some of the women who make up the cathedral’s
workforce and take in their own approaches to equip their Belief in Change.
