The aim of the Lincoln City Foundation Sport & Education Programme is to help young people maximise their potential in football, education and life. It puts well-being and personal development at the heart of everything we do. Our aim is to develop well-rounded individuals as well as high-quality players. We will provide expert services, support and advice to students and parents.
We want our students to be technically excellent and tactically astute independent decision-makers on and off the field, equipped to be successful in the game of life!
All students will study towards a Level 3 BTEC National Extended Diploma in Sport (equivalent to 3 A-Levels). BTEC classes will be a mixture of theory and practical sessions in order to deliver course content. The qualification is split into 14 units, which are assessed through written reports, presentations, discussions, case studies, workbooks, practical assessments and external exams. There are a variety of units that will be studied including:
•Anatomy and Physiology
•Coaching for Performance
•Sports Event Management
Alongside your studies, you will also be able to complete an FA Level 1 coaching qualification and engage in a tutorial programme to develop your life skills and practical abilities.
