Study with Lincoln City Sports College

Lincoln City Foundation have revamped their education department as part of a long-term vision to become a regional leader in sports education, personal development and pathways into employment or higher education.

The newly-named Lincoln City Sports College not only better reflects the ambition of the project, but the quality of what is on offer for the next academic year.

The Foundation have more than 40 post-16 students across their full-time education programmes, with more joining each year due to the success of the courses.

The offer currently includes BA (Hons) sports business and management, BSc (Hons) community football coaching and administration, and BSc (Hons) sports and coaching development.

Alongside the rebrand the Sports College will be launching BTEC level 2 from September, as well as a brand-new master's course, MA sports leadership. All delivery will be at the LNER Stadium including any resit lessons and timetable contact will be over four days.

Statistics from the last academic year:

• 93% of students progressed into further education, employment, or training last academic year.

• 100% of students reported feeling more confident and supported in their career plans.

• More than 1,000 hours of practical learning delivered last year through sport, volunteering, and community initiatives.

• 70% of graduates moved on to university-level study, including our BSc (Hons) community football coaching and BA (Hons) Sports business and management.

• Degree - 100% of year one students achieved at least a 2:1 grade and 66% achieved a first.

• Degree overall – 100% achieved at least a 2:2 grade, 90% achieved at least a 2:1 grade and 40% achieved a first.

• BTEC 100% pass rate, 62% achieved a merit grade and 13% achieved a distinction.
