More than 34 runners helped raise more than £12,000 for the Foundation across the Lincoln 10k and Lincoln Half Marathon, with the two top fundraisers rewarded for their efforts in the recent victory over Doncaster Rovers at the LNER Stadium.
The Foundation’s two top fundraisers, Hannah Woodley and Steve Barker were presented with a signed shirt at half time, as a show of appreciation for their phenomenal efforts.
Alice Carter, head of healthier communities at the Foundation, said: ‘‘Everyone at the Foundation is very thankful of the training, running and fundraising efforts of all our Lincoln 10k and Lincoln Half Marathon participants this year.
‘‘Their dedication to supporting our charity has collectively raised an incredible amount to help fund the ongoing delivery of our community programmes, changing lives across Lincolnshire."
The Foundation has fundraising places available at both the 2026 Lincoln 10k and Lincoln Half Marathon. Runners must raise a minimum of £100 for the Foundation. Fundraisers that go the extra mile will receive prizes such as matchday tickets as well as LNER Stadium tours.
