Pat has worked in Greater Lincolnshire for more than 30 years, most recently as area director for NatWest Commercial Banking, a role where he oversaw a team focusing on many of those sectors key to the local economy such as manufacturing and technology, visitor economy, healthcare, agriculture and logistics. He retired from that role in early 2020.

He maintains a close interest in education and skills, having been vice chair of the Lincoln College Group, and is an advisory board member of the University of Lincoln International Business School as well as member of the local Employment and Skills Board. Pat is a non-executive director at Lindum Group, and he is the current chair of Greater Lincolnshire LEP.

He said:

“I am delighted to be joining Lincoln City Foundation at an exciting time as the charity expands its activities aimed at happier, healthier inspired communities.

“My recent visit to the offices only underlined just how committed the Foundation’s staff are to that cause and I look forward to joining them in their journey to help and support physical and mental wellbeing throughout the county.”

Martin Hickerton, chief executive at Lincoln City Foundation, added:

“We are thrilled to welcome Pat to our board of Trustees as we embark on our charities next chapter. His experience across Lincolnshire’s many and varied sectors will be invaluable to us as we continue to deliver our 2020-2025 Strategy.”

Pat is a fan of Welsh rugby and also keenly follows Lincoln City FC.
