After more than nine months of dedicated training and fundraising, lifelong Imps supporters Jasper Caudwell and Gary Hutchinson achieved an incredible joint total of £15,311 for Lincoln City Foundation by completing the 2025 London Marathon.

Taking on the ultimate test of endurance, Jasper and Gary each ran the gruelling 26.2 miles through the capital on what proved to be an unseasonably hot day in April – pushing themselves to their physical and mental limits.
The phenomenal total they have raised will go directly towards supporting the Foundation’s work as the official charity of Lincoln City Football Club, helping to develop and expand programmes that engage, support and inspire our communities. This funding will contribute to initiatives that use the power of football and sport to improve health and wellbeing, develop education and skills, and promote inclusion across Lincolnshire.
Jasper said: "It is a completely unforgettable experience that will stay with me forever — made even more by the incredible support of my family and friends. Together, we raised an amazing amount for a special charity that will go a long way. It was all about making a real difference, and that’s exactly what we did!"
Gary added: "Running the London Marathon for the Foundation was one of the best things I've ever done in my life. All the way through the training on those cold January mornings, right the way through to crossing the finishing line on the Mall. It was a pleasure to be able to do it for the Foundation who do so much good for so many people in the local and wider community."
Alex Bavin, director of business growth of the Foundation, added: "Jasper and Gary’s commitment has been nothing short of inspiring. The effort they’ve put in, both on the road and in their fundraising, will have a direct and lasting impact on the lives of people we support across all our programmes.”
