The Academy graduate was rewarded for his outstanding work in the community in the post-match presentation following the final game of the 2024/25 campaign on Saturday, where he received the PFA Community Champion award and was further recognised the following day, when he collected the Community Player of the Year at City’s annual End of Season Awards evening.

Draper has been commended for his role in delivering Football Evolution and other community programmes.

Foundation CEO Martin Hickerton said: “It was brilliant to be able to recognise Freddie for his outstanding commitment and attitude towards his work within the area.

“We’re incredibly fortunate here at Lincoln City to have a fantastic group of players who are always prepared to go above and beyond when it comes to representing the football club.

“There were a number of players who were strongly considered for these awards, but we felt that Freddie deserved to be celebrated.

“On behalf of everyone at Lincoln City Foundation I would like to say a huge thank you to our players and staff for their devotion to work in the community and add a special congratulations to Freddie for winning these awards.”
