Girls Academy Players successful on the Lioness Talent Development Days

We would like to congratulate some of our players on being selected and attending recent Lioness Talent Development days!

Women's Pathway Leader Amy Kay, has recently attended the FA Discover My Talent programme event at St Georges Park with the EFL, with the aim of providing these opportunities to more local girls in the coming year.

Today we shone a light on the great work which is going on locally for female players both with us and at their grassroots clubs. Sharing stories of some of our Girls Academy players on the pathway that represent us and their local grassroots teams.

The Discover my Talent pathway allows players to be identified and monitored to unearth hidden gems in the girl's youth game. The FA initiative aims to give more females an opportunity to wear the three lions shirt and provide the country with its next star!
