Funds to be raised for the Lincoln City Foundation at an upcoming all-star charity football match

A glittering line up of celebrity stars are taking to the football pitch next month to help raise funds for our community-based programmes.


A number of high-profile names will participate in a charity football match at Lincoln City’s LNER Stadium on Sunday, October 10 with funds going to support our male mental health project, Team Talk.





Those looking to show off their football skills include YouTubers Chunkz and Sharky, TV personality Calum Best and Ex-TOWIE stars James Argent and Dan Osborne.


Alongside them will be Love Island’s Luke Trotman, Danny Williams and Joshua Ritchie, comedian Man Like Haks and WSTRN band member Louis Rei.


EastEnders stars Danny Hatchard, who played Lee Carter, and Matt Lapinskas, who portrayed the role of Anthony Moon, will also be taking to the pitch.


Other celebrities participating in the charity football game include ITV 2’s Survival of the Fittest contestant Warren Phillips, 2015 Celebrity Big Brother winner James Hill and The Real Housewives of Cheshire cast member Joe Sealey.


Chief Executive of the Lincoln City Foundation Martin Hickerton said:


“It is fantastic that these celebrity stars are helping our charity raise essential funds to support the physical, social and mental wellbeing of people in Lincolnshire.

“Our goal as a charity is to create healthier, happier and inspired communities and so this match is a great way to bring to bring the local community together, whilst also raising money for an important cause.”

The game has been organised by Sellebrity Soccer, which was launched in 2012 to help charities raise money by arranging all-star football matches across the UK.


Sellebrity Soccer’s Co-Founder Kevin Cooper said:

“We are proud to organise large-scale charity events that enable organisations to raise vital funds to help people in society.

“Since launching, we have raised a magnificent total of £2,124,189 and we are committed to increasing this number.”

Kick off is at 3pm on Sunday, October 10, but fans can enjoy the buzz of the stadium from 1pm.


Tickets cost £10 for adults, £5 for under-16s and OAPs and £40 for VIPs.
