Would you like to improve your English skills, or do you know someone who would benefit from some extra support?
‘Conversation Clubs’ have been delivered in the Sincil Bank area of Lincoln for several years and have engaged with individuals from a variety of countries including Bulgaria, Mexico, China, Poland and Italy.
The aim of classes is to teach English to non-native speakers in accessible community settings and help them to progress onto further opportunities, such as employment, community volunteering, or simply feeling more able to chat to their neighbour as they pass them on the street.
Our conversation classes are free and cost nothing for you to attend!

As new immigrants, we cherish very much the chance to learn English conversational skills, which help us communicate fluently and effectively in our daily life: seeking medical consultation, banking services, legal advice, job interviews, emergency situation and so forth.
We are very much grateful for the effort of our English teachers: Alice, Neville and Frank, who tutors us patiently and attentively. We wish to extend our tribute to them for their instructions and encouragement for us to speak English without fear.

I was really pleased with your English class. I found the combination of material and support allowed me to improve my level. I was particularly pleased with the knowledgeable and patient teacher, who was always available for any queries. I would definitely recommend your course to any students who would like to study English further.
I just want you to know that at first I had not high expectations about this kind of virtual metting but It has been much more better than I thought.
Honestly, despite the begining nervousness, it is the first time I enjoy an english oral session in my life and I have felt that I can participate anytime.
I do not know how long have you been doing this english meetings, but if only I had known about this before…. This is exactly what I was looking for to improve my oral skills.
