Sincil Bank Community Celebrates Queens Jubilee

On Friday 3rd June 2022 Sincil Bank Residents will be coming together to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with a Street Party.

Members of staff from Lincoln City Foundation have been working hard with residents and other local groups to organise a fun-filled day.

Pupils from local schools, St Peter at Gowts, and Bishop King are creating bunting to decorate the area along Sincil Bank River. On the day we have a Living Statue, a balloon modeling magician, an acoustic guitarist, an improv comedy group, pin the tail on the corgi, and other fun games and crafts and will finish the day off with a visit from our Mayor.

With funding from the City of Lincoln Council, the Foundation and Sincil Bank Community Partnership have been able to not only organise the Street Party but also support other local groups with different activities and events.
