Tackling Inequalities Fund

Lincoln City Foundation have been granted access to a fantastic fund to help to reduce the negative impact of coronavirus and the widening of the inequalities in sport and physical activity.

The Tackling Inequalities Fund forms part of our £210 million support package to help the sport and physical activity sector through the ongoing coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis.

In response, the Tackling Inequalities Fund has been created to try and help reduce the negative impact on activity levels in these under-represented groups, with a specific focus on:

  • Lower socio-economic groups

  • Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic communities

  • Disabled people

  • People with long-term health conditions.

Our Aim

The aim is to take away barriers such as money, transport, and equipment from households with a low socio-economic background. This will all be provided by the funding, pinpointing the key demographics and locations within Lincolnshire.

At Lincoln City foundation one of our aims is to ensure every family has access to sport and physical activity.

With this grant, we are able to offer a £50 voucher to families that would like to participate in sport and allow their children to access our holiday clubs and sports sessions without the worry of cost.

With this voucher, you will be able to access our clubs and sessions such as evening Youth clubs, Holiday clubs, sessions on our 3G facility and activities at a local gym or leisure centre.

If you are unsure about your eligibility, please get in touch at enquiries@lincolncityfoundation.co.uk
