Lincoln City Summer School

Lincoln City Foundation Summer School Teachers

Contract Type: Sessional with up to 25 days work available over the summer

Lincoln City Foundation (LCF) have an opportunity for qualified or trainee Primary School Teachers as part of our brand new Summer School for 2020. We are looking to recruit numerous individuals to deliver on our programme.

LCF are recruiting Trainee Primary School Teachers or qualified teachers, who may want to work over Summer at our summer school. It would involve some light teaching of basic skills that some children will have missed out on and also helping out as part of our activities team too. The aim would be to deliver some Numeracy and Literacy to children for part of the day and then be involved with the activities programme throughout the rest of the day. We think it is a good opportunity to get children involved in some light education over Summer, as well as activity. If this is something you would like to be part of then do contact us.

The Summer Schools are for Primary School aged children.

We will be starting on July 27th for a period of 5 weeks. You do not have to be available for the whole five weeks.

In line with Foundation’s objectives the post holder will:

  • Work to provide safe, engaging and high-quality delivery to all Foundation customers in line with the programme curriculum and structure

  • To enhance and advance the progression of participants through programme activity, with the aim to make a positive impact on an individual’s health and personal achievement

  • To develop and lead sessions and be responsible for the delivery of content, administration, relevant equipment and participant contribution and involvement
