We are looking forward to seeing you soon!
It has been a challenging few months for everyone, and we can’t wait to welcome you back. We are reviewing guidelines and looking how we can resume delivery of some of much-loved programmes in the coming weeks and wanted to update you on what (we hope) is up and coming at Lincoln City Foundation.
We are delighted to announce that we are able to offer a summer provision throughout the holiday period with locations in Lincoln. Building on our existing holiday club offering, our Summer School will be a mix of fun sporting activities, as well as a vital addition of education support to help you child or children get September-ready for the new school year ahead. Participant safety remains our priority and information will be made available shortly to explain how we are following government guidelines and protecting all that join us over the Summer. We will be sending a separate email later in the week showcasing this offer in more detail, with the links available to book. Places are limited available.
Football Development Programme
We are monitoring and reviewing updates surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the situation in the UK. With the increase of cases in the UK and in-line with recent FA directives, our Football Development Programme remains postponed until further notice.
We are pleased to inform that we are aiming to have sessions up and running from September 2020 (COVID-19 guidelines permitting), therefore we are now taking sign-ups for the 2020/21 season. If we are unable to start in September due to government guidelines, we will delay the start date of each centre and extend the end date so that players receive the full 40 sessions. The response we have had so far to these pre-season sign-ups has been amazing and we can’t wait to see you back training with us again.
The 2020-21 Football Development Programme will be the best yet with the appointment of a new Football Development Officer. Players aged from 3 to 16 years old are able to sign up for this exciting football programme where we pride ourselves on providing opportunities for experiential play with technical ability and progression, whilst creating an inclusive and positive learning environment so children can develop their game whilst having fun!
This is a great way to receive some extra training whilst playing grassroots football, or for some, an opportunity to start playing the game.
Our aim has always been to embed the correct techniques right from the outset, encouraging young footballers to play and develop naturally. We believe football should always be played with a smile and for those aspiring to excel in the game, we offer a genuine pathway to excel.
