Lincoln City Foundation Surprise Our Partner Schools

Lincoln City's Harry Toffolo and Mark Smith with St Faith's Infants School

Our Education team have been visiting Lincoln City Foundation partner schools to make a special delivery of signed shirts and balls. We have been surprising children and staff with the signed merchandise when presenting them within our sessions, which has been in assemblies, PE, PSHE, stadium tours, plus many more.

Each school will be using their gifts in different ways, for example, some schools will be displaying it in the school to showcase the partnership. Others have opted to reward students and staff for there hard work by presenting them with the gifts. Whilst a number of our schools have opted to use it as a resource for a raffle to raise money for selected charities or fund necessary school equipment. All our partners schools have also received season tickets and have had a number of player visits.

Lincoln City Foundation has the ability to engage children, raise hopes and aspirations and improve the lives of the people of Lincolnshire. As a charity, we are committed to ensuring that we respond to local needs while working strategically in line with regional and national agendas. We recognise that sport plays a prominent role in addressing major issues such as physical inactivity, rising obesity, and educational attainment. Through our diverse range of school services, it has been seen that we are having a profound impact on teachers and children.

Our partner schools programme has been developed to deliver a high-quality physical literacy curriculum, and also provides out of school opportunities for children to engage in extra-extended activities. We are also the exclusive contract holder of Premier League Primary Stars, where we work with our partner schools to assist in core curriculum delivery such as Maths and English, whilst delivering targeted PE for children who require support around resilience and confidence. Lincoln City Foundation is delighted to be able to provide schools with a comprehensive programme designed to complement and reinforce existing PE and academic syllabuses, based on developing an understanding of the theory behind physical activity.
