Lincoln City Foundation BTEC Tutor, Danny Carter has recently completed a Sky Dive in aid of the Child's Bereavement Centre, who offer free support to children aged 3-18 to help them with the loss of someone close doing this for two reasons.
"Firstly I've always wanted to skydive and secondly this means I can raise money for an incredible charity too. Whilst I didn't experience bereavement like the children who the charity works with, I didn't have a traditional upbringing either. As a child I couldn't always make sense of what was going on around me and so have always been extremely grateful for my family members that stepped in to help when I needed them most."
"Please donate any money you can do to this amazing charity! Plus you'll be safe in the knowledge that for the next couple of months I'll be acting cool, saying I'm not at all worried but rest assured I will be absolutely terrified when I get past the point of no return."
The charity supports local children and their families affected by death or terminal illness. Here's a link to their website where you can find more information: http://www.childrensbereavementcentre.co.uk/
From everybody at Lincoln City Foundation, well done, Danny!
