Foundation and Partners are Award Finalists


Lincoln City Foundation are thrilled to be East Midlands Charity Awards Finalists and have been invited to attend the online ceremony on Thursday 11th June 2020.

The Foundation are celebrating their nomination and relationships with their partners in the following categories:

· Outstanding Charity Support (Large Business)

Cargill have been a long-term partnership to support projects to promote and empower positive food choices for primary school children and the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle.

· Outstanding Charity Support (Small Business)

Lincoln Tea & Coffee have been supporting the Foundation and our community projects for the past year through regular donations from the sale of their specialist branded coffee through the Ideal Lincs shop on Steep Hill, Lincoln and in Lincolnshire Coop stores.

We are also proud to announce that Paul Hamnett, Head of Foundation at Lincoln City Foundation has been shortlisted for Charity Director of the Year after steering the Foundation from “good to great” over his seven years at Lincoln City.

Simon Walters, Chair of Executive Board of Trustees at Lincoln City Foundation said: “We have been on an ambitious journey as a charitable organisation over the last few years and we are proud of the strong partnerships we have formed as a result. We are continuing to grow, and these nominations provide some well-deserved recognition for our staff and our partners.

“Support from businesses, big or small, is essential to ensure we can reach out to as many vulnerable individuals as possible in our communities to help enhance their overall health and life opportunities.”
