During our break from our Lincoln City Football Development sessions we want to make sure that our future football stars are staying active and are still working on improving their football skills.
Our Coaches have launched the Lincoln City Foundation ‘Skill Zone’ which introduces online challenges for our players to take part in. These challenges all focus on ball manipulation and mastery, these will all only need limited space and a football.
Tom Padden, football development Officer, believes the new Skill Zone could be key to ensuring children continue to improve their skills;
“it is important to stay active and use this opportunity to work on your individual ball manipulation, these challenges will improve your balance and coordination skills and will have a significant impact when we resume playing football”
The Skill Zone is available to view on YouTube on our Lincoln City Foundation channel, we will be adding more over the coming weeks.
We want to see our development centre players (and parents too) taking part in all our Skill Zone challenges. We would love to see your attempts, tweet your videos to us tagging @LCFCFoundation with the hashtag #LincolnCitySkillZone
Do you have your own little skill or trick that could be perfect for our skill zone catalogue? send it in to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will select some to add to our catalogue.
Lincoln City Foundation rely on participant participation and engagement. During this enforced break we have frozen all direct debit payments for all football development programmes.
However, as a charity, we do rely on the funding this programme brings in.
We would like to invite you to support the sustainability of the programme and our Foundation going forward if you can by making a voluntary donation.
If you would like to make an equivalent donation to your direct debit amount of £25, £50 or £75 (or anything you can) you can easily do so by clicking here:
Alternatively click on the donate button at the top of the page.
