Lincoln City Foundation are due to receive a donation from face coverings designed with the Imp to support their community and disability projects as delivery restrictions are lifted in Lincolnshire.
The relationship bought to fruition from a Lincoln City FC Supporters Board member, has resulted in the Portsmouth based organisation, who specialise in race-wear products, including inner-helmet face coverings, selling products with the Lincoln City Imp.
The donation racing its way to the charity so far is in excess of £700, which will be added to the Foundation Inspiring Lives Appeal, which is to support programmes such as our Down’s Syndrome Active (DS Active) Football Team and other community focused, participant-led projects.
Chris Johnson from DStar Global said:
“as of the end of June we have sold 712 Imp-designed face masks and the orders keep coming in. It is great to know that these sales are helping a charity support the Lincoln City communities and that so many people want to support.”

Charlotte Hornsby, Operations Manager at Lincoln City Foundation said:
“like many charities across the UK, we have been significantly impacted by the Coronavirus outbreak and our fundraising opportunities have been reduced, which could have a direct impact on our programme delivery in 2021 and beyond.
“We rely on the support and contributions from individuals and businesses throughout the year, and this new connection with DStar shows how creative and generous people are being and how much of a big difference it can make to vulnerable people in our communities.
“A huge thank you to Chris at DStar for their contribution to our Inspiring Lives Appeal.”
