Brian Calvert Memorial Trophy

Lincoln City Foundation have received a generous donation, after the recent passing away of Brian Calvert. Brian sadly passed away to cancer and the £500 raised from his funeral has kindly been donated to the foundation. Brian regular took his Grandson, Ollie-Jack to Lincoln City matches and booked Ollie-jack on to his first ever Lincoln City holiday club as a surprise and this is something Ollie-Jack has been attending ever since.

Brian worked at Siemens and was as an NVQ Assesser and in his memory, it has been decided that the money is to go to our BTEC Football & Education Programme, as his passion was football and educating young people within the City.

The generous donation was made by Brian’s wife, Gill, along with Grandson, Ollie-jack and Stacey his daughter.
