Lincoln City Foundation is looking to recruit an NCS Officer to plan and deliver our NCS programme.
National Citizens Service (NCS) is a voluntary programme for 16 year olds that focuses on their personal and social development; this includes challenging activities, away from home residential experiences and a self-designed social action project. The aims of NCS are to promote a more cohesive society by mixing participants of different backgrounds.
The role will primarily be responsible for the day-to-day running and delivery of the programme working closely with the Youth Manager to develop strong and meaningful relationships with a range of stakeholders including schools and young people in order to deliver positive outcomes for participants.
The NCS Officer will be expected to work throughout the Autumn (3 weeks) and Summer (8 weeks) NCS delivery periods. Annual leave will not be authorised during these periods.
