EXTRA TIME HUBS
Wednesday 10:00 to 12:00pm
Legends Lounge at Lincoln City Football Club
‘Extra Time Hubs’ is a national project from the EFL Trust and will initially be delivered by 11 EFL Clubs. The Hubs will harness the power of football clubs in the local communities to bring people together.
Extra Time Hubs has been made possible with thanks to National Lottery funding from Sport England and we aim to bring together retired and semi-retired people to have a positive effect on the range of activities available to them in their free time and the opportunity to meet and spend time with like-minded people from the area and to prove that you’re never too old learn to do the things you’ve always wanted to do.
Mike Evans, EFL Trust Director of Operations said: “With the support of Sport England’s Active Ageing fund from the National Lottery, we will use the power of our football club badges will bring people together in a comfortable, familiar environment and allow them to shape their future path to improved health and well-being.”
At an Extra Time Hub, it’s your time so you decide what you do. Quizzes, games, arts and crafts, music, singing, table tennis, films, talks, walks, bungee jumping or just sitting and having a chat over a cup of tea – Nothing is off the agenda if you really want to do it.
At Lincoln City Foundation we cater for all ages and provide sessions appropriate for all abilities regardless of time of life. Our Adult Activities programme targets activities to the Over 55's through Sport Specific and Generic Physical Activities. We aim to provide an opportunity for participants to keep a steady level of fitness and also provide a social opportunity where they can meet new people.

Along with the Former Player Association at Lincoln City FC we offer Sports Review sessions which encourage residents to talk about their relationship with sport.
We are currently working on a care home package which will allow our partner care homes to benefit more from our Lincoln City brand.
