"I am delighted to bring to our programme the Girls Development Centre! Nationally football is now the biggest team sport for women, but there is a lot of potential for further growth. The development centre is our first step in bringing an exciting programme back to Lincolnshire which ensures the female game continues to grow and we are excited for you all to come on this journey with us."
Amy Kay - Football Development Officer
Girls Development Centre
We are excited to announce our BRAND-NEW female development programme which will enable us to coach a syllabus to improve, develop and inspire female footballers across the region.
The new development centre is our first step in providing a pathway for female footballers from any grassroots club to receive extra specific training from our team of coaches, who will deliver sessions to the same standard as our other sessions working of the same syllabus as the boy's academy. There will also be an opportunity, through our open girl's development centre, for the girls who want to join the pathway into elite centres.
Players in the programme will receive a high standard of coaching from experienced UEFA and FA coaches that share the aim of promoting the female game. Working on the FA four corner model we aim to develop the holistic player and continue to monitor their development as they progress through the age groups.
