activity code of conduct

Lincoln City Foundation is committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all of its delivery activities, regardless of location, participant group or interests.

To ensure high standards of conduct, behaviour and respect are upheld by all, both participants and third parties (including parents, carers, supporters, education staff and visitors) agree to adhere to the following Activity Code of Conduct.

Bullying, intimidating or aggressive behaviour toward any other individual will not be tolerated.

As a participant or third party visitor you must:

  • Respect the views and decisions of others, including players and coaches

  • Listen and respond appropriately to instruction and direction

  • Refrain from using foul or abusive language

  • Play fairly, with honesty and as part of a team

  • Be positive and committed to taking part – not waste time or complain to others unduly

  • Treat the training facility, equipment and kit with respect.

Concerns raised about participants or third party visitors may be subject to investigation, and if found to breach this Code of Conduct in any way will result in one of the following actions:

  • An apology to the individual(s) impacted by the behaviour

  • Formal warning – issued from a member of the coaching staff

  • Suspension of training – asked to cease training for a period of time

  • Termination of training – informed they are to cease training on a permanent basis.

If complaints are received where unacceptable or targeted abusive behaviour takes place outside of the training facility, this may become a Police matter.

Complaints or breaches of the code may result in the participant involved, directly or indirectly, being removed from their programme or being refused further participation in Lincoln City Foundation activities.

Complaints about the behaviour or conduct of Foundation staff will be dealt with through our official processes. Concerns of this nature should be sent to
