where are we travelling?

We are travelling to Asten in Holland on an excecutive coach, crossing via ferry from Dover to Calais

what is included in the cost?

Included in the price is travel via coach/ferry to Asten, Holland and to and from the excursions, accommodation, breakfast and dinner at the hotel (lunch will be provided by Lincoln City Foundation), entry into the two day Juliana Malden cup, tourist and Dutch taxes and sports travel insurance. 

what does my child need to bring on the trip?

Your child needs to bring their full Lincoln City training kit, including boots/shin pads (goalkeeper gloves if relevent). At least three changes of clothes (appropriate for various weather conditions), swimwear and towels, toiletries, any medication. Phones/tablets/electrical devices and spending money can all be brought at parental discretion, Lincoln City Foundation can accept no liability for for any theft/damage/loss of property.

Can parents come on tour with the players?

This trip is a chance for Lincoln City development players the chance to thrive in a controlled environment away from their families. If parents do decide to travel to Holland seperately they will not have access to the players activiites at the hotel, they can however attend the Juliana Malden Cup to watch the fixtures.

do we need to purchase travel insurance?

Your package includes Sports Travel Insurance, any extra insurances can be take at your discretion.

who will be chaperoning the young people on the tour? 

Lincoln City Foundations full time staff members will be accompanying the young people on a 1:10 ratio

can my child bring electronic devices (phones, tablets, consoles etc) ?

Your child can bring electronic devices on the tour, Lincoln City can accpet no resonsibility for loss, damage or theft of any items brought by our participants.

what football will we play on the tour?

The players will all compete in the Juliana Malden cup, this tournament runs over saturday and sunday. U11 + U12 will be playing 8v8, U13 + U14 will be playing 11v11

What footwear will players need?

Players should bring comfortable footwear to wear when travelling and boots suibtable for both astroturf and grass

What happens if my child needs hospital treatment when abroad?

To ensure free healthcare, uk nationals shouls apply for a European Health Insurance Cards (EHIC). This can be applied for here https://www.gov.uk/european-health-insurance-card
